Customer description：

    The customer told us that it carelessly installed the Windows system in a SAN Storage consisting of 10 hard drives, which resulted in overlapping of database which was important to the company. According to introduction of their friends, they learned that the Company had rich experience in server data salvation. Though they had contacted data recovery companies headquartered in the Chinese mainland, they finally decided to engage the Company for data recovery, in consideration of the costs of time and money, as well as the need for confidentiality. They required to restore data of the two databases in use.

Recovery process:

    After the customer directly brought the hard drives to the Company, the confidentiality agreement was entered into between both parties. All the hard drives were left on the Company for detailed inspection, after which it was discovered that database within the array (Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2) was overlapped by the Windows system. As a result, most parts of the original database were overlapped. The whole database was of great importance to the Group. For this reason, the Company provided the customer with VIP speedy service. Technologists of the Company analyzed the hard drives of the array, and discovered that the situation was very complicated. Software independently written was needed for recovery of backup files of database of the customer. We accurately positioned and smoothly extracted documents from backup files of the two databases of the customer requiring salvation. Within three days, we succeeded in restoring the database. The data was proved to be 100% recovered after test in the environment of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and verification by the customer. The high-quality services provided by the Company helped the customer to be free from complicated and time-consuming procedures. At the same time, the customer was at ease due to conclusion of the confidentiality agreement.

In case of malfunction of SAN Storage and the need for data recovery, you are advised not to try reading the data again, for this may cause further damage to the storage device and reduce the success rate of data salvation. You are advised to immediately send the storage device to professional data recovery companies for data salvation. Further damage to the storage device may cause the data unable to be salved.
